Croatia 9-2006 - Switzerland to Paris

Here are some images taken on our coach holiday from London to Croatia.

This part of the trip saw us coaching through the Aosta valley into the centre of the Alps.

Then over the Alps via the Simplon (Sempione) and Great Saint Bernard passes to Lake Lucerne in Switzerland.

The road over the Simplon Pass (2005m), was built by Napoleon as a military through route between 1800 and 1808, immediately after he’d successfully crossed the Grand-St-Bernard with an army.

Then through to Dijon in France and a long run up to our next hotel on the western outskirts of Paris,a good hotel with excellent food.
