Here are some images taken when our cousins, Paul and Nina Hoopes paid a visit to Scotland
This fifth and last page was the trip to visit the Falkirk Wheel.
This spectacular wheel is the ONLY one in tthe whole world, although four other countries are at present considering building something similar.
The wheel is 350 feet high and lifts a canal barge up or down between two different level canals saving a series of twelve conventional locks, a saving of eleven hours of time and without loss of any water.
Again we hit poor weather.
